Creative Performance Inc. (CPI) is a Portland-based consulting firm in the the Marketing Services industry. They specialize in helping digital agencies scale. As CPI has grown, so has their services and team - to show the evolution of the company, CPI sought to refresh their brand and digital presence.
We collaborated with CPI to understand their customers needs - from there, we used brand strategy to help inform a more modern visual identity

We then dove into designing the CPI Brand Toolkit - a digital-first design toolkit that will express their brand, value and services in a cohesive and holistic way to the market.
Every time people interact with your brand there is an opportunity to create a memorable impression. A brand style guide is the document that describes and defines how a brand looks and sounds across all media. It must clearly define visual and content rules around your presence. The style guide provides guidance for all consumer touchpoints. It includes rules on logo usage, colors, typography, tone of voice, and more.
For CPI, leveraging the "Seriously Creative" concept, we provided a slight refresh to their brand - a logo that represented their heritages, a Portland company that is a guiding light for companies in uncertain times of transformation. Additionally, to show their creative sides, we woven in a bright and dynamic color palette.
From there, we started to apply the new brand toolkit to marketing materials, including printed collateral, company website, social media presence, and digital advertising.

For CPI, we took the Brand Design Toolkit and created a stunning yet performant website for CPI. Through the use of mega-menu, we built a powerful navigational experience so potential prospects can quickly find relevant case studies of CPI's services. Additionally, we designed each page with the CPI team in mind - they are featured and help the user understand CPI's personal approach to marketing operations.
To ensure the new experience scales gracefully, we worked alongside CPI to operationalize the new Design Toolkit - every person in your company should understand what the brand represents and how to implement it in the work they do.
We also designed to the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 - ensuring that the design worked for all users.
The result? Brand refreshed, new businesses soon followed.
With the new brand and website, CPI was able to go to market with confidence - and an impressive story to tell.
